    The HD trans is $3500 with torque Converter and the Factory spec rebuild is $2500. The price is very reasonable compared to some of the other options available up here($5000)

    The truck has 264000km on it or 164042miles. I figured that somting was up when it had a steady drip anytime I towed something. I took it to a few different tranny shops and they all said that I must have boiled it over but I think that it was a seal that was leaking.

    The definative way to figure this out would to open the diff count the teeth on the ring gear and the teeth on the pinion then divide the number of teeth on the ring by the number on the pinion and thats your gear ratio

    Wastegate Openening too soon?

    I have an 01 that makes a whine when I get on it, from about 2000 rpm up. The noise sounds like it is comming from the motor and not from the trans. I did the Zoodad mod last week and it has gotten worse. Any Ideas? Since the zoodad it has started to smoke more than before also.:dunno Help...
