Help! Where do I put the egt probe?

Alright, here's the deal. Sitting in the driveway (not running), the pyro reads about 100*. As soon as I turn on the key, the needle instantly snaps to 0* and stays there. I just pulled out the guage and double checked my wiring and it seems to be right. Red and Yellow from the probe are correct...

Help! Where do I put the egt probe?

The guages are AutoMeter brand. The pyro didn't come with the Autometer brand probe, the guy ordered it seperate. I'm going to drive it and see what happens. I feel like the probe is bad.

Help! Where do I put the egt probe?

Ok, got the pyro installed but I don't know if it's working. Started the truck and let it idle for about 10 mins and guage never moved. Shouldn't I get some kind of temp reading? I think I'm wired up right, when I turned the key on the needle jumped to 0* (is on about 200* with the key off) I...

Help! Where do I put the egt probe?

Just got my pyro and boost gauges today. I want to install them in the morning. Seems like I saw a how-to on this site with pics a while back. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    ccv mod

I did the ccv mod a couple of days ago, also added the open air intake while I was at it. Everything went real smooth. Note: I used a PVC 3" coupler instead of 4" exhaust pipe to connect the air intake hoses. The pvc coupler has an outside diameter of 4" and worked perfect. I got my Fleetguard...

    Need your knowledge!!

Woosh sound all the time! OK, here's my story. I just put 5in stacks on my 2000 F350 dually last week. I really like them but I get the wooshing sound all the time and it's really loud! I guess I should say nearly all the time. It will stop if I let off or step on the go pedal, but at cruising...

Wheel weights and Aluminum wheels question.

The bag of beads thing works. I had them put in my dually tires about 30K miles ago and no problems. The tire man said it's what they use in the big trucks and they are ceramic beads. The size of the tire determines the weight of the bag. Oh, he also said 2 golf balls would do the same thing!

    The official picture thread

Superf350, your truck inspired me to order stacks for my f350 dually! Havn't got them yet (maybe today) but I was wondering... How loud? Any problems? Also I really like the row of lights along the bottom of the cab. What are they and where did you get them? Thanks.
