    water - meth injection

I am mounting them in the intake tube. Bungs are in place and the tube is back in the truck. Snow says the pump should be near the pump, so they are both in the box for now. I am going to rewire it with a solenoid soon. Almost ready to drive and test...

    water - meth injection

I just got a good deal on a Snow Performance kit, hopefully putting it on this weekend. Do ya'll think the injector will require a bung? Any reason why mounting the tank an pump in a toolbox would be a bad idea?

    Steering problem after offroad driving

Thanks for all the help fellas. I determined the problem yesterday. While driving through one of the little mud holes I must have struck the steering stabilizer. I noticed a small puddle under the stabilizer yesterday. While there didn't appear to be much damage, there were drops of shock...

    Weird exhaust noise

Surely there are some girlfriends out there that wouldn't need a muffler... isn't there? My rig has a muffler and that "hissing noise" is still as loud as can be when the truck is idling, almost sounds like someone is using a cutting torch.

Ford man, just got first Diesel

You are indeed. I actually found it on autotrader before finding it on eBay, but I made the deal locally since I live 45 minutes from the dealership (when I'm not at school).

    Steering problem after offroad driving

I left the hubs on auto the whole day. Hmm, my situation here at school really sucks for vehicle maintenance. My truck is currently parked outside, in a gravel lot, half a mile away from my room, and I have no tools here. Simple tasks like jacking up the front end to have a look become major...

    PICS: Valentine One <custom install>

Sorry to revive an old post, but I am curious to know what the view from the outside is like. Do you have any pictures from the outside?

    Steering problem after offroad driving

How would a guy check this? This does remind me, the steering makes a "squeak" ( a deep, low squeak) when turned just to right of center and back.

    Steering problem after offroad driving

The truck does track straight. The truck was running all day, so I would assume the fluid was warm, but it was single digit temperatures outside. Honestly, I haven't driven the truck since then. I only drive it on the weekends while at school, so it has been parked since Sunday.

    Steering problem after offroad driving

Steering problem after offroad driving - Resolved Sunday I took my F250 offroad. By offroad I mean forest service roads in Virginia. A few rocks, a little water, but mainly rough dirt roads. On the way in I was taking it easy and enjoying the view, but on the way out is I was moving a little...

Ford man, just got first Diesel

The truck has ESOF four wheel drive, so I'm thinking that makes the T-case a NP273. Sound right? Anyone know what the low range ratio is like?

How did your install/testing go? I am looking at the Snow Performance kits, any comments? I primarily drive it empty and tow a single vehicle. No real power problems, other than the fact that you can't have enough. I did have some high EGTs last time a towed a truck through TN though.

Ford man, just got first Diesel

Howdy ya'll I own, drive, wheel, roll, etc a 1978 Bronco and have for years, but I just bought a 2001 F250 in December. I've wanted to own a powerstroke for awhile and I absolutly love this thing now that I have one. It is four wheel drive because I can't stand the thought of having a truck...
