    Replacing compressor wheel?

Compressor Wheel You can get an upgraded turbo compressor wheel at deiselsite.com or blackclouddiesel.com. I just installed a wicked wheel today from dieselsite - $77 plus shipping. Took me two hours to install it and the HPX line. I did not remove the turbo from the engine and it worked out...

lifting my dually 4inch or 6inch any one know tires sizes

Width won't affect the engine RPM, it is the diameter that needs to be recalibrated to the ECM.

lifting my dually 4inch or 6inch any one know tires sizes

Lifted Dually My 2000 has an 8" lift with 35's. :sweet You'll need spacers for the rear wheels - mine are 2". Also you'll need to recalibrate the speedometer with something like the Superlift Tru-speed which will give you your true milage and let the engine run correctly as it calibrates many...

    Central Texas

Malone Diesel :thumbs I live right down the road, less than 5 miles from him and know him personally. He is very good with all diesels. I use him for what I can' or won't do myself. He's not cheap ($85.00/hr), I think, is the rate these days, but he knows what he's doing and drives a Superduty...

    Aftermarket Power Steering Pumps

Hey guys, it's been a while since I've posted anything. Have any of you bought an aftermarket power steering pump? I see one on ebay by 'No Limits 4x4' in Arlington, Tx , but wonder if its worth THAT ($475) much. Seems like everything is going out these days and the PS pump is telling me its his...

    97 loses power

 My friends 97 F350 CC loses power at acceleration during initial warm-up. It idles slightly rough, after acdelerating it acts like fuel starvation and drops back to idle & it will gradually pick up RPM and get to speed and then repeats three or four times, then runs pretty good...

    Now the bad news

:burnit Got out of the shop for less than $300, although he spent a good 6 hours on it he only billed me for 2.5. He said it was a good learning experience for him. Says I have a Dana 80 with a (I forget the name)-True lock?) Turns out the ring and pinion are almost new and the cover has been...

    Now the bad news

Thanks for the info so far. I'll take more comments. I bought the truck last year with 140k on it. No telling what is in the rear end considering half the mods were already done to the truck when I bought it. If I was to open it up myself, what would I look for to tell if it already has a...

    Now the bad news

:( While fixing my A/C, I had my friend look at the considerable play I had in my rear axle/driveshaft. The drive shaft turns a 1/4 turn before 'engaging' and when I park it has a good 1ft roll or more. He pulled the top plug off of the differential cover and it was full of metal...

    A/C Problem

:burnit Okay, I found the real problem, the A/C clutch was worn to where there was too much space between the plates and when it got hot it could not hold. My friend who owns the local diesel shop told me to take out the shim washer. I did that and it works just fine now.:thumbs I...

    A/C Problem

 My A/C works and is pretty cold, but after I've been driving and come to a red light it feels like it goes out. I can be using the cruise and after (for instance) going up a slight grade and it goes into more of a coast on the other side it will go out also. Anyone have any ideas? I...
