Help Needed Looking for Intake Snorkel For 6.0L

If I was to do that I'd be no better than a cummins or duramax owner. Bama hooked me up with a website , waiting to hear back from them because they don't have a purchasing site that I can order off.

Help Needed Looking for Intake Snorkel For 6.0L

I was out and about today when I saw a lifted Excursion that had a intake snorkel coming out of the front fender. When he got on it, it made the sweetest sound. I'm looking for any website to locate a snorkel. I can't say that I'm in complete danger of flooding my intake, but with global...

    New guy from ontario

Welcome to the forum, looks like you get some awsome wheeling opportunities. I remember the first diesel farm truck that I owned, I would just beat the crap out of that truck and it kept coming back for more. Keep taking pictures!!!!

Who all has lost their job?

Hell I've been off since Dec., boss I had was a real dick. I busted my ass, made him look like he knew what he was doing and as soon as the heavy concrete was done he fired me and walked me right out of the gate. Gave my job to a lower paid foreman, who stuck it to me!! I hope I see him around...

    Question 03 f350 air

I believe that your selector switch has crapped out or the positioning motor has malfunctioned. How much lift you got on your truck?

    Truck is down!!!!

I had a problem not to far off of that, I had off and on electrical problems, it turned out to be the main wiring loom coming out of the firewall. I found it out by gingerly taking a prybar and working it ever so gently into the top of the loom. I let the dealer figure out the rest. Although I...

    Biggest tires i can go

I think that 31's will fill up that wheel well nicely, as far as the tires Toyo or super swampers. It depends on your tire needs and your personal opinion.

    upgrading newer bigger tires

I hear that the Hankook is a good tire, I run the Toyo mud terrains. I love them, next time I'm going 37 in.

Said goodbye to our first family pet today.

Bama sorry to hear about that , I lost my beloved chocolate lab (BEAR). I picked him out when he was two weeks old and picked him up on christmas day. Then my wife replaced him with another named moose.

    Anyone rebuilt a 6.0 yet??

I agree, a cummins swap just shows lack of commitment and talent. Anyone can buy a 800hp engine and dump it in a mustang, its the guy that sticks with his truck and it's engine, that busts his knuckles to make that truck run. We just have to know or limitations with work that we can and work to...

    body lift.

Not that I'm an expert, but my thought process tells me that that would sink the engine further into the engine compartment, thus making it harder to reach your goal. Just my thoughts

    lug nuts

I was under the impression that Madman was mounting those 37's on aftermarket rims with most use the aftermarket lugs that have a tapered end that fits into a tapered hole on the rim.

    Anyone rebuilt a 6.0 yet??

I've got 125,000 on mine and I hope I've got another 100,000 on mine to but I daydream and do a little researching. You can bore it Bigger and lightwieght rods and pistons, intake modifications (porting and polishing), deeper oil pan and don't get me started on the tranny. Needless to say you...

    lug nuts

I could be wrong but I don't think that those 35's are going to fit on a stock truck and you are going to need a taper shaft lug nut

    HELP with 8" lift

Just be careful, thats alot of block in the assend, with those super swampers, you'll have alot of traction and your begging for axle rap. I'm not sure but I bet you'll have at least 6.6 inch block if not more. If that doesn't scare you, I'd say go for it.

    picked up my 09 f250

If you ask the aftermarket dealer, he can help you with a chip that can be shut-off or turned on when needed. Exhaust is a little hard to hide and you have to be careful that you keep everything close to stock. The intake is going to depend on what kind of relationship you have with the dealer...

Question Is there any good 6.o's out there?

I've got a 03 with 120k on it. I had one problem with the wiring loom and one turbo that was a defect other then that all my problems were self induced. Sure the cummins is a strong platform but I do'nt know of any cummins owner website (wait I've never looked for one) no big loss. Their just...
