    Took it to ford, they said the unison ring was sticking (overboost) so they swapped out the turbo. The tech said he didnt hear anything that sounded like what I described. He didnt check the compressor blades, but its a new turbo so I guess it doesnt matter anymore.Thanks for the help.

    I didnt notice any real difference driving it, the turbo is a bit louder (wish it was like the semi truck on the freeway) . Did it for the cooler EGT.

    Oh I didnt know that some wouldnt fit but guess its okay cause I got the afe 3.5. Got the pipe yesterday but the truck is still at the body shop. Jacknifed my trailer in the snow (close one too). Body shop said 3 or 4 days, this has been the longest 3 or 4 days of my life (8 days and counting).

    So if..........06E17 removed the exhaust back pressure sensor from the PCM strategy, could I remove the EBP and install the thermocouple for a exhaust gas temp gauge? It is in the driver side exhaust manifold.........:rolleyes: Any thoughts?
