    Rumor had it a couple of years ago that thay were developing a 6cyl jointly but with all the problems with the first 6.0 ford droped it and started to develop one based on an exsiting motor from over seas. Im shure some one knows better than me but that was the rumor I remember reading about.

    Your truck was probly ordered in that color. Mine is an XLT with manual hubs and transfer case and sold me on the truck as I plane to have it for at least 10 years and it is less to go wrong. Besides if it is going to snow I just leave the hubs locked and the case is still shift on the fly.

    My 06 had the auto wolume control in the stock radio I could not stand it and replaced it with a pioneer. You may be able to find one on ebay or maybe a junk yard some owners dont know about it because it is a setting on the radio. Cheak your owners manual. Sorry but I sold mine on ebay a year...

    I have both wix and motorcraft filters in the garage and they are both physicly the same but the wix is an industial filter and made of better componants. I always use rottela 15w-40 with lucas oil addative some people dont like the lucas but I have been runing it for years and it works great.

    My friend has a bottle on his 7.3 excursion I beleve he has it set up for a 100 shot. The only problem is by the time he killed off one bottle he destroyed the stock trans. I dont know how it is with the new trans but I will ask him next time I see him.

    No if you take off the plate mount you can reach right inside the bumper and change the lights. On my truck it is the only way unless you have very small hands.

    Just use a couple of small bolts and washers. If you have driving lights it is easyer to replace the bulbs if you can remove the mount.
