    the sheet metal thermostat housing is tough to get resealed. a small $3 tube of permatex waterpump sealant seems to fix the problem pretty well.

    the turbo is not connected to the blower. ie, head bone, foot bone, leg bone, arm bone. i would bet its your AC.

    what oil are you running? my romps went away switching to syn or semi syn oil. romps were worst with dino oil, both rotella and motorcraft. first start, about 30 seconds then went away. shook the whole truck. went to rotella blue bottle year round.

    jdw- is this the first time your tranny has been down? from your sig, i am guessing that your truck has 212,000 miles. you are simply wishing if there is nothing more than bushings and seals needed.
