Question Clutch???????
HEY ALL. I AM FRUSTRATED BEYOND BELIEF. I HAVE 2000 F250 7.3L WITH THE 6 SPEED MANUAL. I HAVE HAD 2 CLUTCHES PUT IN IT IN THE LAST 6 MONTHS. 1ST ONE I PAID FOR OF COURSE THE 2ND WAS REPLACED WARRANTY. BUT NOW ITS DOING IT AGAIN. IT HOPS THE BACK WHEELS AS YOU LET OUT THE CLUTCH. Truck in the dumps Help!!!
:dunno I have a 7.3L and last night I felt it sputter a couple of times and then the check engine light came on and it started running like crap. Sounds and feels like its missing out but I know no spark plugs. So I did the easiest thing and took the fuel filter out and drained the fuel bowl...- txrdnek

Clutch making noise when engaging
I bought this truck used 2000 F-250 7.3L 4WD and it makes a noise when engaging the clutch. Pretty sure it is the throw out bearing but figured I would go ahead and replace everything while it is apart. Anybody got and idea of the cost to change out the clutch or what kind of a job it is to tackle?- txrdnek
