wastegate opening pressure
Have been trying find a low boost problem for awhile. Pulled turbo and found exhaust leak at the pipes. Thought I would check the wastegate and found it starts to open at around 10psi. I can only get around 9-10 psi boost. Is the wastegate bad or is it ok? :dunno- Smithereen

Long crank time
I`ve had my truck parked for the summer, but have been firing it to move it around. When I starting the truck it cranks for 5 seconds before it fires. I don`t remember it being like that before I parked it. Even after running it for awhile, shut it off and wait a couple minutes, it will crank...- Smithereen

How many ICP`s
Can anyone tell me how many different ICP`s are for the 7.3. I can get a hold of 2 (for spares) at a good price. The ones I am looking at are for a 2002 and I have a 2000. Any one know?:dunno The part # they say is, Alliant Power AP63402, any help would be great.;tu- Smithereen

Boost Question
This is the first powerstroke I have owned. When I have the rpm`s below 1800 rpm, it is very slugish. If I shift down to 5th gear you can hear the turbo a bit and it is better. To get the turbo to spool up quick, do you have to have these engines above 2000 rpm? :dunno or do I have a problem. I...- Smithereen

Another new guy
Hi, Just upgraded my 91 7.3 with 2000 power stroke.:sweet Used the old truck for plowing driveways. Needed to upgrade plow and truck. Haven`t plowed yet but looking forward to time in the new truck. Glad to being apart of Superduty diesel community. Thanks:D- Smithereen
