    I had to replace mine at 62000 miles due to terrible squealing. Ford guy said that 60000 miles was normal life.

    I keep hearing terrible rumors about the new fuel and how it wears out injectors on earlier model trucks like my 04. What is the deal? The Ford mechanic told me to run a diesel clean in every tank. Any thoughts on this?

    Just leave it alone and unplug EGR if it fouls again. Mine runs better with EGR unpluged (Better get up, and better fuel economy).

    Go to www.dieselfiltersonline.com for $18 oil filter and I think it was about $52 for air filter. Fuel filter was more than the $30 IH deal though.
