Purolator Premium Pure One Oil Filter PL45515

The 'Pure One' is the PL series I don't remember the name of the other series; "Sortofclean Two"? "Whywon'tyouspendtwodollarsmoreonyour$45,000.00truck Three"? They work excellent, there is a Honda/Acura filter I use on my 2006 Triumph Sprint ST and I just clicked over 62,000 miles. (A lot...

Purolator Premium Pure One Oil Filter PL45515

Not to speak for him but the 'P' in the cat# is for the 'Pure Oil' series which is their premuim filter using better and more media as well as the upgraded gasket and bypass materials. There's only about $2.00 difference between the two.

    Update I had it Flushed

That kind of crap is why I try and do everything I can myself. I got tired of the dealers charging up the whaazoo and not even doing all the work. Tried to buy a transmission filter element. $44.00+. "They're less than half of that online, I'd like to buy from you but that's awfully high."...

need help deciding lift and tires

Please don't flame me but I'm curious why such a high lift? Is it unique usage for your area? (Mud, etc.) Looks? Combo of both? Not calling into question your decision, just curious. I ask as someone who's pretty involved in off-road racing. I agree to save your nickels and do it right...

Question: Has anyone added the aux switches

Perhaps I mis-stated my original post. The vehicle wasn't ordered (for dealer's stock) with the switches. A $50,000.00 truck and they didn't order a less than $100.00 (bargain) option? Seemed silly to me. Seems like a 'no-brainer' option on a loaded truck. Ever since, I constantly got a...

Question: Has anyone added the aux switches

The dealer didn't check the option box for the auxilary switches when he ordered the '05 that I bought.:rant My question is: Has anyone bought the OEM switches and harness and installed it? Part #'s? Plug and play? Thanks!

    Howdy from california!

I was thinking more about all the fluid in the torque converter, cooler, etc. I know dealers have a device that circulates the fluid (I think they intercept the cooler lines) and replaces old with new, theoretically changing all the fluid. Changing the fluid in the pan only replaces less than...
