hey, i was just wondering if there is a difference(in price) if i was to buy a spartan tuner/dpf & doc delete straight from Spartan versus buying from a dealer. keep in mind i am in canada where everything costs more.( except prescription meds). also, where is Spartan located? going on a road...- copenhagenstroke

no, it has not been recalibrated. the dealership says it is not possible to do it without an aftermarket programmer. funny part is the dealership will sell you a brand new lifted truck, but dont like programmers. :dunno .- copenhagenstroke

okay, i am starting to sense that spartan is the "new revolution" in programming. so what kind of fuel mileage are you people getting with the lower (dpf friendly) hp tunes? or should i just go straight pipe and higher hp? i am currently averaging about 10 - 12 mpg empty according to the dash...- copenhagenstroke

DPF/DOC system
this question is aimed more at the tuner/ programmer pros; how does the dpf system work in the fords? is it pressure controlled or are there photo sensors in the filter? been seeing threads of people with new dpf's getting excessive regen. now for my personal issue. fuel mileage sucks. spartan...- copenhagenstroke
