looking at another 6.0l

im looking at buying a 6.0l 2005 1 ton crew lariat fx4 with 37*** miles on it. ive been reading a bit about the engine. does anyone know what ford offered in 2005 for the powertrain warranty? and will that transfer to me? heres the rig: any advice, comments, etc would be appreciated...

Engine Cleaning

I don't own a SD (yet) so I don't know if diesels are different, but with every other truck I've owned this is how I cleaned the engine/compartment: spray generously with Simple Green. Let sit for 5 minutes or so. Rinse it off with the engine running. Once it's rinsed off really well close...

Agreed. No way I'm going to pay that. I'll have to get the kbb and go from there.

what do you think of this truck?

Hello, just registered. im looking for a 3/4 ton and these forums seem like a great place for info on the super duties. i live in melbourne, florida (near cocoa beach) and im a firefighter/paramedic.
