Another EGR
Just my 2 cents but these trucks we all have should be able to idle for days if we wanted. What I mean is the EGR system SUCKS! We should be able to use our trucks how we please thats why my cooler and up pipe ''EGR'' are lost in the back of my shed and I ant looken for um! :rant- First Ford

You should always have your heads checked for flatness, and also have them magna-fluxed even if they had no symptoms to warrent the removel. I pulled my heads ''myself'' and installed studs and went threw the whole truck when I hit 140k miles. Truck was running like a champ with no problems at...- First Ford

Man, if it popped the gasket like that right in the middle of two cylenders.....I call that heads that were not perfectly flat! Did he mill em..... I cant think of any other reason!! Let us know WTF- First Ford

6.0 problems
Who said what Yes Dave is right, these bad boys need to warm up completely in order to run properly. If you dont they will smoke, shake and seem week with power. I will start mine up and let that sucker run for at least 10 min. As for the problem with the black smoke and running like crap...- First Ford

egr valve
What do you have? A full delete kit replaces your up pipe with a new one that has no kick off to the EGR cooler that you would also remove so forth and so on. If you do not have a FULL delete and you just blocked off where the EGR valve went then you are pissing in the wind......and letting...- First Ford

I have a question for you.....My heater is not working. The controller for air direction to floor deff. ect... works fine. the other knob ''when turned all the way hot'' does not work. The AC does work. Any sugg.....Thanks- First Ford
