Thanks guys, will "google" for torque specs. and reuse bolts. Thought I would ask about reuse to see if someone knew something that I might not have heard. Don't want the trailer passing the truck, specially with part the truck attached.

    Reuse Hitch Bolts??

Hitch has to be loosen up to mount some light brackets. So, I thought I would just take it off and paint it or have it powder coated while I'm at it.:D Is it safe it reuse the bolts? What should they be torqued to? I looked in the shop manual for torque specs. I did not see anything on...

    Paint chips

You can go to the parts store (Advance, Auto Zone, NAPA, etc..) just about any of them should have the touch-up paint in the small bottles with a brush in the cap. Might not be a perfect match, but it will cover up the bare metal. If you wanted to tak it one step further you could also buy the...

How to modify a factory AIC box.

I don't know how to do it, but would think it should be possible. My AIC has "extra" wires for remote switch(es) hook up. Also tells you in the book for it what type of switches are required. Do not know what if any difference there is between OBS and Superdutys for the AIC. Might be able to...

    What kind of jack???

I would not trust the stock bumper to hold up that kind of weight. I carry a small 4 ton bottle jack. It works just fine, for flat tires. Greg

    Engel Portable Fridge/Freezer

Yeah, they're alot more than the Ilgoo and some others out there. That's why I'm trying to get some info on them. It would be worth it if it actually preformed as advertised. I had one, that worked as you described. Don't want another one that doesn't work. This would be an expensive storage...

    Engel Portable Fridge/Freezer

Thinking about going iceless. Would be a alot easier to just plug it in to the truck or the house. Wondering if anyone has any experience with these. Looks good on paper, but do they work in the real world. It gets just a little warm here in the summer and I could proably use it almost...

    Need Some Dual Alternator Help/Suggestions

I'm going to add the second alternator to run all the electrical accessories, this will not tie into the stock electrical system. Going to mount Optimas (2) under the cab. Truck is 2003 7.3L. Will put a winch on the front bumper and the Anderson connectors front and rear for jumping other...

    Track Bar bushing question

If it's made of rubber it can detoriate(sp) over time. These made be a real pain to change, but I would proably go with Daystar or something along those lines. Do not by shy with the grease when installing these, do not want any squeaks. It might be cost effective to just buy a new bar if the...

Recommendations for 8" lift on 99 PSD

Pricing from OffroadWarehouse.com right now starts @ $2073.00 w/5" rear spring you will add everything else to that. You will need to compare how they are lifting the rear. They are offering free shipping until 7/31. I believe that the Dreaver spring that Donahoe has spec'd rides better and it...

Recommendations for 8" lift on 99 PSD

I purchased the Skyjacker brake lines also. Going to put on the ones I got from Superduty HQ's when I get a chance. If you can make your drop, you're ahead of the game. That's not something I feel comfortable doing and would farm that out. I would also check out www.truckperformance.com and...

Recommendations for 8" lift on 99 PSD

I have an 8" Edge(donahoe), see below sig. I tow every once in a while. I weighed the trailer at the grain elevator before I left Indiana on one trip. It surprised me when the scale showed 9600#, with a tongue of 1100#. I do use a weight distributing hitch when I pull this. I have the deepest...

    Is AIC still available?

Just wondering, tried putting the part number into www.powerstrokeshop.com and it came back with nothing. I might have the incorrect number, the number I have is F5PZ-12B641-AD. Also, do I need to purchase the wiring harness seperately? If anyone can straighten me out I would appreicate(sp)...

    Nitrogen onboard air supply?

It will proably depend on your supplier, I use nitrogen for my shocks. The tank was a must purchase item, they would not lease a 20# tank. When I need it filled they just exchange it. They should also have the regulator with the gauges on it, also a purchase item. With any pressurized vessel...
