    Driving & Towing 5th wheel

Nice looking truck!! We also had a F-450 Kings Ranch dually to pull our fifth wheel toy hauler. I agree with you, what a work horse. It felt so solid pulling that trailer. We've since sold our fifth wheel and traded down to a Super Duty F-250 6.7, crew cab, short box platinum to pull our...

    Aftermarket Fuel Tanks

I just traded in my 2012 F-450 CC 4X4 dually for a 2015 F-250 CC 4X4 short box to pull our Airstream. When going to the short box the fuel tank size decreased from 37 gallons to 26 gallons. I am thinking about having an aftermarket Titan fuel tank installed. It is a 50 gallon poly tank and it...

First long fifthwheel pull with new 6.7 PSD

Just bought a 2015 crew cab short box 4 X 4 and it has the 20" wheels. It only has 400 miles on it and on it's first unloaded trip at 70 mph I ended up getting 17 mpg. I'll see as time goes on what it will get.

What have you learned abou your 6.7L this week?

I know some of the guys on the Corvette forum use hair dryers to remove those stickers and most have been successful. The also sell black stickers that go over the labels, they are ugly aren't they. I might try to find something like that for my truck.

What have you learned abou your 6.7L this week?

We have a 2012 F450 drw king ranch edition for pulling our 41' 15k lbs 5ver. What a great truck to pull it with, you hardly know it's there.

First long fifthwheel pull with new 6.7 PSD

Great to hear your truck preformed so well. Great mileage for that load. What speed do you run?

    New 2012 6.7 PSD SuperCab-First road trip-23.7 MPG!!!

17 mpg was on a nice flat highway. I live in the country and everything is 30 minutes away. If we drive the truck around town we usually end up around 14 or 15mpg. It's nice to here the 4.30's will be good in the mountains. We are planning on traveling in the Rockies next year and it will...

    New 2012 6.7 PSD SuperCab-First road trip-23.7 MPG!!!

Hi Scotty B. We actually wanted a 350 with the 3.73's in it but this one happened to be on the lot. Kings Ranch and all the bells and whistles. So we ended up with it and all the rebates too. It's a little over kill for the trailer but it will be nice to pull with a newer truck and not...

Dually's Only - Snow and mud on the front of the read fenders.

After driving my 2012 4X4 dually in some sloppy snow here in Michigan I looked at the front of the rear fenders and they are completely covered with mud and snow from the front wheels. The factory mud flaps don't do the job. Is there better options out there for these trucks? I would also...

    New 2012 6.7 PSD SuperCab-First road trip-23.7 MPG!!!

I have a 2012 F-450 4X4 Crew Cab Dually with the Ford Reese hitch option in it. We had to pick up our 41' triple axle Raptor Toy hauler at the RV dealership after service and used the new truck to do it. The truck pulled the 15,000 lb. trailer like it wasn't there. It was very stable with the...

    Driving & Towing 5th wheel

I have a 2012 F-450 DRWLB with 1500 miles and the truck bounces pretty good going down the road at 70mph. At 65 it's tolerable. I have noticed if your driving on concrete it's worse than asphalt. I'm running 75psi in the front and 60psi in the rear. Those are the pressures listed on the tire...

    New 2012 6.7 PSD SuperCab-First road trip-23.7 MPG!!!

My highest mpg with my 2012 F-450 has been 17, on the highway at 65 mph. The truck only has 1500 miles on it so maybe it will creep up a little. With 4.30 diffs in the truck I don't expect it to go up much. It sure pulls my 41 ft fifth wheel Raptor toy hauler like it wasn't there. What power...
