1996 7.3 Powerstroke cold start issue
Okay still working this issue. To get myself past the glow plug issue I removed the glow plugs and bench tested them by hooking them to a battery charger. 7 out of 8 heated up very successfully. I replaced the one that did not. Reading a lot about the EOT sensor going bad and causing cold...- wizzy

Note rechecked current draw and it seems to actuall be about 15 to 20 amps per glow plug measured on each wire- wizzy

Okay for Good measure double checked the batteries and pulled another 1200 cranking battery from my dads truck swapped 1 of them in the diesel. Still same symptoms basically Now that it is warm outside the dam thing started. checked at the valve cover voltage coming to the glow...- wizzy
