    Question Engine Oil of Choice

Just did my first oil change. Used 5W40 Mobil 1 full syn turbo diesel oil, Motorcraft oil filter. I'll probably stick with this combo. Todd

    EGR delete

I'm very impressed with my Power Stroke so far. I'm sure I'll be more impressed after I finally get to hook my camper up to it in 6 weeks. I think to best choice will be to keep is stock. This 6.7L Power Stroke stock already has FAR more power than I actually need to tow my 8,000 pound tt...

    EGR delete

I see on other forums where many have done the EGR delete and recommend it to others. Some have gone as far as doing a DPF and DEF deletes too. All of which would require a custom tune to keep the engine running without trouble codes popping up and would cost some serious $$$. Sinister Diesel...

After months of looking, I finally pulled the trigger and traded my 2012 F-150 Ecoboost. I'm now the owner of a new to me 2012 F-250 XLT 6.7L crew cab. It's in great shape with 55,000 miles and has the chrome package, FX4 package, camper package, and fifth wheel/gooseneck prep. I found it at...

    operator command regeneration

Thanks for the input! My primary use for this truck will be for towing our 8200 pound travel trailer a handful number of times per year, and for what little around the town driving I do. It'll spend most of it's time in my garage. Todd

    operator command regeneration

I've built an F-350 on the Ford website and see an option for the operator command regeneration for $250. I know what it is, but is the advantage worth the cost? Or should I not select it and save $250? Todd

I will most likely be purchasing new. I've looked at used ones 2011 and up, but dealers and private sellers are asking top dollar, especially for diesels in excellent condition with less than 100K miles which are hard to find. Plus most the used diesels I've looked at have clearly been used...

A dually is probably a bit more than I need for towing a travel trailer, plus it wouldn't fit in my garage. A 157' wheelbase will fit in my garage with only a few inches to spare.

Greetings! I currently have a 2012 F-150 Ecoboost. I will be saying bye to that truck next month. In the coming months I will be shopping for a new F-350 diesel, XLT, crewcab. A year ago my wife and I purchased a new 34' travel trailer which weighs in at approximately 8200lbs loaded...
