    If you’ve never changed the glow plugs I would start there. The reason for the “eventual” faster crank is due to the build of oil pressure.

    The "spiked" ends fit into your hand crank for lowering the spare tire, the other side is the "Keyed" side, with out this you would have to cut your tire down to get at it..
