    "A" Code rear springs

Bottom leaf will not allow the rods. Don't you have a lot of bumper? Plow packs seem like the ticket.

Or if you can manage to scratch up a pait of X codes. You were looking at loosing the 4" block out back, did you ever get to it?

    "A" Code rear springs

Sure, give me a few days though. The add-a-leafs were in the rear only. Plain old V codes in the front for the 2"s.:thumbs Got them locally at a 4wd shop.

    "A" Code rear springs

Welp, finally got 'r done. Went with the rough country 2" add-a-leaf and lost the rear block and put the f250 overload seperator block in it's place(tapered 1") The front went up almost 3" and the rear about 3.5". No more need for the traction bars, and the "rear-steer" is a thing of the...

Helwig - Before the lift or after?

Yup! It makes the back follow the front more. If you don't have one you wouldn't believe the difference.

    What Programmer

I like my Edge Evolution. Works well and has a descent reader. Had the predator, has nice features, but you will just hate what it does to the T/C lockup.

When should I change my air filter element?

:roflmao I'm guessing there was a noticeable improvement when it got replaced.

    banks trans command

Like 97crew said, go with a shift kit or sonnax/tricumulator or valve body. Electronically improving the shift is good for wear items, bad for everything else. The deep sump is stilol a huge debate I'm not going to get into. A good tranny temp guage will tell you alot about the life...

Helwig - Before the lift or after?

I put my rear bar on 2 days ago. I'll be lifting the truck the next time the wind stops on the weekend, it's not raining and above 45*. The Hellwig I got didn't have adjustable links like they used to. For now I used the frame holes just above the ones I was supposed to use to get the bar...

    "A" Code rear springs

Right, I'm just trying to find out all I can about the rear A codes I got before I get out the wrenches. Somewhere on some board there was a guy who did the As, and later went to Bs. I have searched for 3 weeks and can't find it. My big question: why switch?

New BFG AT/KO 285s now. I just want stability and suspension travel. I would like to make it into what ford should have.

    "A" Code rear springs

I'm a little slow, so please bare with me. Does this mean you believe when you go to A springs you will remove the blocks and be where you want to be?

    "A" Code rear springs

Are those the stock rear springs there CHP? I believe the A's will get me 1.5"-2.0" empty.

    "A" Code rear springs

I could be super duty way off base here, but check out page 64: https://www.fleet.ford.com/truckbbas/non-html/2002/fsersdcd.pdf These came off a '02 f250, SPG VA. I think these are as good as a f350's. Please stop me if I'm wrong. It's a lot of work involved just to then have to fix what I...

    Performance Trannys?

Jasper builds a nice class 2 race trans. They had a contract to build the Monster Box, and somehow that didn't work out. Their unit is basically the exact same unit w/o the valve body for a grand less.

For 2002 and 2003 they are the same. As are Bs.

    "A" Code rear springs

I'm more concerned with the rear sitting a little low due to the different spring rate even though the "A's" are a higher weight rated spring than stock, the spring rate is lower. Does anyone with the "B's" think the "A's" would be too soft or sag? Thanx.

    "A" Code rear springs

I just found a complete set-up for a great price from a guy who had his f-250 lifted a couple of years ago, and his wife was on him to clean the garage. The spring code on the truck is VA. And he has it all, blocks, bolts, track bar, everything. Super pleased to get a pair of the V codes...

    I need more air.

I put the minder in the end of my 6637 filter. It worked in the factory airbox, but the 6637 hasn't gotten dirty enough yet.
