    Just Curious...Trying to learn!

    i had an issue on my 04 where it would not make boost. there is a fitting on the passenger side of the engine that has a hose that leads to the map sensor. this fitting was 99% clogged. i pulled it and cleaned it out with a drill bit and brake cleaner. re installed and viola! check it out!

    i just ordered the 4600's. the truck comes aprt wed night. black onyx head gaskets,arp studs,oil cooler,ball joints,bilsteins. should feel better wed morning.

    it seems every site i go to has a different part number. my truck is srw f350 with a leveling kit only on 35's. ive done lots of searches here as well but cant nail it down to whether i need 4600 or 5100.

    sorry i never got back in here but the truck was in the shop three times for this before they figured it out. first time the replaced a glow plug harness. that worked for about a week. second time they replaced a fouled glow plug. three day fix. third time. they replace the entire engine...

    it seems to be happening more in the last few days. i need to remove the edge and take it in. i had 2 connections at 2 different dealerships and they both opened their own shops so i hope the tech isnt a dick about having exhaust.

    any ideas what this may be? ill be sitting at a light and it will surge high enough to make the truck lunge forward. it has also stalled a couple of times. im sure they are related. 2004 f350 6.0

    your probably right. i have a 1000hp 80mm single turbo 2003 cobra w/ no expense spared. i wouldnt cut corners on the exhuast on the car i shouldnt do it on the truck either.
