    I don't think I had the tires on for 10 minutes before she took off to WalMart. The blue came off the next day. After a few months with it lifted she said she now understands why I like driving lifted vehicles.

    I work for a fleet leasing and management company which handles the fleets of three railroads. Two very big ones in fact. Trust me when I tell you, YOU DO NOT WANT TO BUY A RAILROAD TRUCK!!!!!!! Especially one with 371K miles for $8K.

    I used a sawzall and porta power . I was apprehensive at first but it went smoothly. Just know that if the DP is touching the firewall even the slightest bit you will hear and feel it in the cab.

    You would need to move the front hangers up about 4" and rework your bumper mounts to use the SD springs.     I have an '05 Excursion with a 6.0 that is my wife's DD and a 95 F250 7.3 that is my tow rig. If the 4WD shops has the shocks this afternoon like they said, I will be lifting the Ex tomorrow and putting some 35x12.50x17 MTZ's on Pro Comp 1069's. The F250 will soon have a kingpin 60 and 3"...
