Mmmmm Peanut Butter

I didn't know Tastykakes made it that far west.

We lived in the Philly area till I was 11 then we moved west to Colorado and yes we can get tastykakes here as well,we have a guy from south Philly that has a cheesesteak shop locally which has tastykakes shipped in weekly.

My brother in Drexel Hill ships Wawa coffee beans & tastykakes when I need restocking

I have thrown a layer of ruffles on PB & J's.

Back in the early 90's I visited my brother in VT and took up cheese steak makings, Amoroso rolls, and three cases of Tastykakes(my wife's aunt used to work for Tasty and since she loved me she would hook me up with anything I wanted for cheap). Those Vermonters were in awe at the taste of a real cheesesteak, and I thought a fight was going to start over the last Butterscotch Krimpet.

Thats not so odd, Wd. My wife likes PB and honey. At our house we eat whole wheat panckes with dark honey instead of maple syrup. Were a little odd, I suppose.

I wouldn't say that I put honey on my pancakes too

I make my kids lunch for him every morning , Creamy PB and Nutella.

Just had a Triple PBJ.. a drippy one, with Home made Strawberry Jam. Mmmm Mmmm GOOD.

Here's another PB delight: Daddy Cakes....

A 4 Stacker of Buttermilk Pancakes.

Bottom one: Buttered

Second one: PB

Third one: Jelly

Forth one: A hard over Egg

Topped off with more Butter & Maple syrup

Wife'd holler.. Whadya want for Supper ?? Kids'd holler: Daddy Cakes !!!!

Ya gota love it.

Big Joe, we could start a whole 'nother thread of what flavor of jelly
is best with PB. For my taste, I can eat 'em with just about any flavor of jelly.

My favorite would be 1.) Strawberry, 2.) Grape, 3.) Apple Jelly (not apple butter) 4.) Blackberry

OK, heres a good trick so your PB&J sandwiches don't get soggy in your lunch. I always put peanut butter on BOTH pieces of bread, then jelly in the middle. That way you never have 1 piece of bread all soggy from the jelly!
