Kelly - People I know, wash their BD about 5-6 times. The first 2 are usually gentle mist washes and the last 4 are bubble washes, with the bubbles coming up from the bottom of the tank, where the "wash water" is. I would imagine that if your WIF light came on that you are running unwashed fuel. Only use washed fuel in your PSD. Draining your bowl should turn off your light for a few hundred miles, but it will keep coming back on. It is the residual chemicals in your unwashed fuel that is causing this...- Houndog

I miss my TRUCK!!!
I'm sniveling with ya Tranny went out 2 weeks ago. Had it built, back on the road. Then it began to act funny again. Found hairline crack in case. Shop found a new case across the country and it shipped yesterday, probably 5 days till it arrives, then a few more days to put the guts back in it...- Houndog

If I owned a 7.3 or especially a 6.0 and thought I would wake up one day, decide to make some fuel out of waste grease, and then throw it in the tank of my $50,000 truck that night - I'd need to have my head examined. Now - if I've learned how to take that grease and get a GOOD COMPLETE...- Houndog

Bubba - I can't speak from first hand 6.0 experience since I own a 7.3, but I can tell you this - the WIF light on mine was triggered by sediment in the fuel bowl. Need engine help!
It is quite possible that you may have the "mysterious injector harness clips coming loose problem". The older style harness, which has now been upgraded, would loosen up and make the 7.3 run like it was on 6 cylinders.
