Actually, the trannies were replace by the previous owner who tows a four-horse trailer full fairly commonly. I've had no problems with it in the two years we've had it and we tow a four-horse trailer very occasionally and with no more than three horses. In any event, you're probably right...- luggw1

7.3 PSD Costs
I've got a 95 F350 with the 7.3 PSD and a 4 speed automatic. She has 204K on her right now. We are considering the relative wisdom of buying a newer used truck, saving for a new one in one or two years or saving our money with an eye toward repairing this truck as it needs it...- luggw1
