    no power cold same thing happened to me. fuel injection control module. on drivers side valve cover. need to be reflashed or replaced. they replaced mine after two attempts to fix. $900.00 still had warranty tho. good luck:(

    fan belt replacement

    belt on 6.0 i replaced my belt and tensioner, all day job. everything between the fan and radiator must be moved, shroud cut in half along perforations then all back together. not hard but time consuming. good luck

    My truck recently started to skip, and cut out unless i let it run for a minute first. When i start it for the first time in the morning. its not cold yet here, any suggestions. otherwise runs like an animal. confused:

    Help Needed backfire or what?

    I have an 04 6.0 F250, i'm wondering if anyone has experienced a strange backfiring sound when you lay off the throttle or shut off the cruise, when running hard for short distances, or when towing a trailer. It almost sounds like a mini jake brake, but lasts only a second or two.. Thanks.

    What is needed to service a 6.0 ?

    IVE ALWAYS USED FRAM FILTER AND ROTELLA T, SYNTHETIC IN WINTER. GOOD DEALS ON QUALITY FILTERS ON EBAY. DONT OVERGREASE OR YOU WILL POP SEALS KINDA FUN TO DO YOUR OWN. SAVE BIG BUCKS GOOD LUCK.

    air intake I put a K&N in. so far so good. not a lot of dusty conditions in upstate ny. and i keep it clean. Easy to do but after reading im gonna keep an eye on the turbo side
