    My truck recently started to skip, and cut out unless i let it run for a minute first. When i start it for the first time in the morning. its not cold yet here, any suggestions. otherwise runs like an animal. confused:

    Help Needed backfire or what?

    I have an 04 6.0 F250, i'm wondering if anyone has experienced a strange backfiring sound when you lay off the throttle or shut off the cruise, when running hard for short distances, or when towing a trailer. It almost sounds like a mini jake brake, but lasts only a second or two.. Thanks.

    Cahnge my belt and tensioner on my 6.0. not that bad, after you get the plastic out of the way. purrs like a kitten.

    BELT TENSIONER 6.0?

    I'm about to replace belt tensioner. and belt on my 6.0. looks to be a real PITA. Does anyone have any suggestions ? Looks like an all day project just to get the plastic out of the way!:) :)
