    Some of these had a problem with the fork that works the throw out berring cracking from fatigue. This would cause your clutch to not engague properly and may cause the shakeon take off. Happened to a buddy but not 100% sure of the symptoms.

    You would jam or wedge the Exducer with a screwdriver and back off the compressor wheel. There is a write up about it in the WIKI articles.     Yeah It the exhaust side thats damaged there doesn't seem to be any one in BC willing to sell just the exhaust side turbine wheel. They all want to rebuild the Turbo for $700 to $900. It is cheaper than the PDR Turbo but I have the opportunity to upgrade my Turbo.

    Fuel Mileage............

    It was an expensive way to do it but when I replaced my transmission and converter I picked up 60miles per tank. That put me right around 18 mpg.
