    how long have your batteries been in there? i just replaced the originals in my truck last year (its a y2k as well) so if yours are the originals i vote for batteries as well but if you replace them and its still acting up i wouldn't be too bent cause they wasn't going to last too much...

    my shudder like that kept getting worse untill it got weak enough it wouldn't pull the hat off your head.... it ended up being the injector harness (smoked my IDM as well but thats not usually the case)

    not really a "switch" but the most reliable way to choke a diesel is with a intake (air) shut off it is like a valve that blocks air from the intake and suffocates your engine... most all of the pullers use something like this this type of engine kill will also protect it from a run...

    thats what i'm seeing not towing 50-60 deg. over ambiant temps are normal (150-185), so yes thats normal especially if the ambiant temp went up... if it starts getting up into the mid 200's then its working to hard and needs to chill

    no problemo... if your not going for mud tires and just want a 305 i would suggest cooper discovery at's... i had 2 sets before these and loved them... wear and milleage was better and they made no noise at all.. still had a pretty good bite to them as well
