00 superduty overhead console help....

hey guys, was wondering if anyone has any experience with their overhead console in their superduty goin bad?? Mines an 00 F350 lariat, has the overhead temp/mpg/miles left till empty deal and the pocket all in one, sometimes when i get in the truck it isnt lit up after i start the truck, then i smack it a bit and its cool, wondering if its something stupid, or if they are known for goin bad? Just curious, any input is appreciated

Mine shows me I have 100 more miles before empty when my Empty light comes on. The only thing I use it for now is the outside temp. The milege program doesn't even work right. It might be the 35" tires?

lol, i've heard of them getting stupid with some of the other functions, and most all the guys do say the mileage program sucks even with the stock tires???...at least the temp works!! lol
