Ok, I *finally* got around to getting a set of Harley model headlight assemblies for my '00 F-250 (Ford issue, not the knock-offs). Also got an H.I.D. kit that has the adapter for 9007 to H13 bulb with relays and fuses.

Now... I just peeked at the stock assemblies and the two retaining clips came off easily enough, but what else is holding it? 'Haynes' manual says to remove the lower clip but I see no lower clip - only the adjustment screw. That come of?? I thought it was only adjustment, not a 'keeper' screw as well.

Also heard of trimming needed... how much? Is this something the average joe can do, or would I be money and frustration ahead by having a shop do it...?

I'd appreciate a link to a guide to this swap if there is one... (I searched but there is a ton of hits on a search here) Or someone's help via pictures and prior work on this! And if anyone in the Anchorage AK area has done it and wants to help, the pizza and beer is on me!

Thanks!
