05 truck with 04 seats?

I never noticed until today, but my 05 f-350 has the center console from the 04 SD's. I checked the door sticker and it says 2/05, so I was not lied to about it being an 05. I cant figure out why it has the wrong interior.

What makes you think its from an 04?

The 04's have the wide center console that folds down on top of the ***** seat. But on the 05's i have not seen one with a middle seat, and all of the center consoles are different. Maybe the ones i have seen just had captain chairs instead.

hmmm...guess it has to do with the type of seat i have. I went online and looked at like 10 05's that were for sale and none of them had a center console like mine, so I assume that was what came with 05's. Guess I was wrong

theres been at least 2 seating options since at least '99....theres
the 40/20/40 option...large center fold down

then theres the captain chair option w/ the (non-seat)
center console.

My '05 has a center seat, and a friend of mine bought an '07 new from the dealer with the same setup.
