the delay is a solution to the EPA mandate of XXX particles of soot off idle
it allows the engine to start turning up then pour on the fuel and boost, which limits soot and smoke drastically
only a tuner or chip will fix it, but then we wouldnt be an Ultra Low Emmission Vehicle

on a lighter note, my month of testing the cat removed has yeilded huge gains in city mpg, I fill up on sunday evenings,
I normally burn a half tank by this time on friday, I just broke 3/4 on the ride in this morning.

Now that is information I can definately use! The ULEV point is good too... I never knew that about them. Looks like a tuner is in the VERY near future then...

You're running no cat and otherwise factory exhaust? How is the sound level, the same?

there is no recall on the 06's (yet). See your dealer for trouble codes. I would recommend not having your computer flashed.
