To clean them do they just pop out like the '99 's did?

Good question,have you tried one yet? Hope half the dash doesnt have to come out for the somewhat simple task

the ones on my 04 are part of the DASH itself...theyre "bolted" from behind.

the dash "cover" has to be pulled off
(at least on the drivers side it would)
