hey ya'll

I hope I'm the only one with this problem , but its worth the time to look.
This is an 06 4x4 with only 7k mi. . I was walking around my truck kicken the tires and by luck I saw this . The spring bolt was out about an inch and a half.
After wrenchen it back in, I looked under the the truck to think about a nut untill i could get to town . Then i saw the o.e.m. nut was hanging there backwards . This could have ruined my seat :whah puckering up at highway speeds

its a new truck.......
take it and your pictures back to ford and have em doa once over on al lbolts nuts etc with a tq wrench , that would be a real eye opener to loose s spring tooling down the road

my 1992 build of dec 91 had an assembly line wrench thing laying in the valley of the engine. I found it weeks after we took delivery. guess it was a free roadside tool :D

Al least if the bolt came out it wouldn't totally screw you. It's still attached at the other end... might get low on one side in a hurry and make you fill your bucket seat though. That is pretty piss poor QC though.
