i get my oil filters from oil guard and use rotella

especially the fuel filters
trick
get a five gallon paint pail and cut the top two inches off it, then it wil fit right under the drain pan.
invest in some 2x12's and make you a good step up ramp at least 3 boards thick
loosen the factory oil filter cap first, then drain the pain
installing the oil filter, slowly set it down and listen for a small audible thump as the cap gets screwed back down, that way you know its seated and the drain valve is closed.
