I purchased an 08' super duty with crew cab. The truck is great. I am just a little ticked off that ford calls the interior leather. It is only 30% leather. The front seats are only leather on the seating surface, and thats not including the head rest. The back seat is all vinyl in the middle. The door seats are only leather straight up the middle. Not even the side cushions are leather. Now I know why it doesn't smell leathery when I open the truck. The way I was able to tell was by sticking my finger into the leater. When you poke leather, it wrinkles. When you poke vinyl, it stretches and doesn't wrinkle like leather. You can feel the difference also. You guys can check for yourselves. This decision has to be the white collars at ford. It really pisses me off because I wanted the leather for its excellent wear resistance. What do you guys think? Just putting this issue out there.
