im confused, is this an 2008 (6.4) or a 2007 (6.0) ?

if its a 6.0L id BET that its the HPOP connectors & bracket,
although it could be any number of things (ICP, IPR, fuel filters....
and the list goes on)

the 99-07s dont have alarms from the factory (although they
can be added)...is there a blinking light on the dash ? surely
the horn or siren would be going off it it had an alarm.

Many of the 08's (in my area) are equip'd w/ alarms (most appear to
be AFTERMARKET)...but they have a "security" light that blinks when
its armed (and certainly the siren and lights go "off" when the alarm
is tripped).

Ive not read of any HPOP connector issues w/ the 6.4, but that doesnt
mean they arent present <still>...all the other items STAND as a possible
problem/diagnoses...w/out a GOOD obd2/can scanner youll be GUESSING
at the potential fix.

we dont have an alarm clicker for it.do they have a factory alarm?

there is a factory OPTION for an alarm....but again i would have
expected that you would have NEVER gotten it started <easily>
and i cant imagine that i would quit, restart and then NEVER
start again.

perhaps the non-payer put LOJACK on it and reported it
stolen & (although i dont know if LOJACK can do it or not)
perhaps LOJACK has disabled it.

There are alarm systems that would allow a user to disable
the truck (AND PINPOINT its location) btw.

Just shove it back in the corner until the bank tells you where to take it. Why waste your time when there is no one going to pay you for it. Probably something the owner did to it since he knew that someone would be taking it away. These deadbeat buyers think it is someone else's fault that there truck is going bye bye. It might also be a warranty issue that has not been taken care of and as a result the pissed off owner quit making the payments.
