I would think it would be a little quicker Mike.

A chipped, exhausted, intaked 7.3L(auto) Super Duty lays down around 280-290HP on the dyno from what I have read. They can run low to mid 15's. I would think a stock 6-oh would be somewhere in that range for RWHP.:dunno

stock HP for a 2003 6.0 was around 275 @ the rear wheels...

in the hi 14 to 15 second range would think, depending on the driver and how he/she launches....

I would say that's a little far fetched for stock.

Pickuptruck.com did a test on the 2003 6.0 PSD. 2003 Western Diesel PickupTruck.com Diesel

They listed the 1/4 mile time as 16.82 @ 82.57 mph. I don't think they launched in 4wd though.

On Edit:

From the article:

All vehicle tests were conducted in two-wheel drive mode (rear) and in high range

Odd thing is the list the curb weight as 7250lbs. My 4x2 weighed in at 7100lbs. Of course that had my body weight of 180 in there. So Curb weight on mine would be 6920. I also think their truck was a short bed, so I guess 7250 is believable.

Hmmm... just giving my opinion... since I had one similar...
and given the xample about a 15 sec 7.3 just above with about 280 HP....
275HP is VERY close to 280 :)

and Hi 14 to 15 means 14.xx thru 15.9 which is a pretty wide range... but I think obtainable with a stock truck boosted and launched in 4x...
