Im currently looking for a set of 20 X 10 or 20 X 12 wheels for my SD that will be nicely eye catching but still subtle. Im upgrading from my 44 X 18.5s on 16.5" eagles to a 48" or 49" michelin military tire using a 20" rim.

The rims I have in mine all seem to have solid caps and I dont think they will accomodate my manual hubs.

Any thoughts or suggestions? I dont wheel my truck often, its a pavement princess daily driver but Id still like to keep the locking hub function.

heres a few pics of the wheels I was considering...

thanks

My concern would be the unsprung weight of the wheel. Go pick up one of those 20 X 12 wheels; they are HEAVY!!! Unspring weight will make your shocks work over time. I would never put on those, due to the weight. Your choice...

20 X 12 wheels are heavy yes but a 52 X 16" michelin is much much heavier. Its going to be an extremely heavy combination to begin with but Im not planning on racing the thing.
