2002 PSD Wont Start?

I was driving and all of my gauges went blank and my throttle wouldn't do anything. So I changed fuse #45 and the gauges worked. But now all it does is crank over but it wont fire? Any ideas? I just bought this truck yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!-mad

It may be a bad CPS (cam positions sensor). Ford is notorious for having them go out.-mad

sorry dmerre89 my help did not help.

does your tach read anything while cranking that will kinda rule out the CPS.
i guess the glow plug relay did not fix the start.

do you have acess to a scanner?
if so get the codes and maybe it will help pinpoint the problem.

well.. i took it into a dealer and got charged $98/ hour labor and they found out that the PCM is shot. So there's $1100 i get to spend for labor and the new pcm. I'm SOOO glad I went to a chevy to a ford... not!!!!!! But hopefully I'll get the bugs worked out of it. Thanks for all the help though..
