2003 FORD F250 SD CONVERSION.....

Hello folks, been awhile since last reported.... Hey I have recenlty bought a wrecked 2003 F-250 SD 2WD Crew Cab SWB 6.0 Powerstroke. I want to convert her to a 4x4. I have the parts if I want to get them if need be, what do you all think about this project? I am guessing its only switching out the axle, transfer case, front and rear drive shaft and some other minor things such as wires, cross member etc..... Your opinions needed. Thanks.

Sounds like more of a project than you think it is. It is the small details that cause the most problems. If you have both the 2 wheel and the 4 wheel trucks, I say go for it.

Thanks... I can have the whole setup start to finish , every part needed for $1,867.00. And the donor Truck only has 45,000 +- miles on her when rolled onto her side. I have the correct transmission for the Transfer case to bolt up to so no need to purchase the needed transfer case. I'll keep you all informed so future trucksters can see it happen. Later.
