Is anyone towing a fifth wheel with this vehicle and having any issues with either clearance above the bed or difficulty in getting the trailer level? There are some threads on other sites saying that the 2019 F350 is too high for some fifth wheels.

    Thanks

I tow a 34' Alpine fiver with my 2018 F450... It sits higher than the 350, and of course the beds are deeper than the 2016s and older. I have my B&W companion on the highest setting, and left the pin box where it was set by the dealer for my 2013 F250.[IMG]

I tow the predecessor to the Alpine - a 32' Everest. The truck is a 2011 F350 with 20" wheels and sits a little high. We have between 5 and 6" clearance from trailer to the truck box and are very close to level. I could likely adjust the pinbox to drop it an inch, but prefer to keep the clearance. I think your concern relates largely to the model of your fifth wheel and how much adjustment you have between the truck hitch and pinbox.

Pull a 40’ toyhauler with a 2019 F350 DRW. I set the Curt Q20 hitch to the highest position to mate with the Morryde factory pinbox setting. It sits higher than my 2007 King Ranch did and the truck box seems a little deeper but I still have 5-6” of clearance.

Yes, on my 2017, f350. 5th wheel is about 5" high in front and only 3.5" clearance from truck had. Have 2019 Riverstone.
