Run 65 psi in them all of the time. You will get better tire life and maybe a mpg, or so, better mileage.

yeah, if you're going to haul something, max 'em.

if you're just driving around town, I learned a little trick years ago when I got in the tire business...

1. Set your tires at max sidewall pressure

2. Take a tire crayon strike three lines 120* apart across the entire face of the tread

3. Drive the truck a few hundred yards

4. Get out and look at the lines
A. If you can see the ends of the lines, decrease the pressure 5psi
1. Re-draw the lines
A. Drive a few hundred yards more, check the lines again

repeat step 4 untill a new line is completely erased in one pass

There. you now have the optimum pressure for a flat footprint on the pavement.

well, here's the deal... on a factory tire, we use the door post pressure...
when they've been upsized, plus-one'd, etc... we use the other method
I'm thinkin' you're gonna end up with a lot more in the front hoops...

It is safe to run loaded or unloaded at 65 psi. I have 80,000 miles on this truck and the tires look great. Some wear all across the tread, but no weak areas or worn edges.

well i looked at my tired today and noticed that the outside edges on the front 2 are wearing faster than the rest of the tire. could this be from having the pressure too low at 55?
