4R100 main failure points?

I'm not familiar with location to the input shaft on the 4R100 automatic,does it mate up to the engine side or the tail to the transfer case?

Just got off the phone with BTS and Brian is having me run the engine less the belt to eliminate accessories.

Remove the trans inspection cover/plate to check that the balancing weight is on the flex plate and that the flex plate has no cracks or misc damage,any parts that drop out after the cover is removed is a sign if it's the TC or other input components.

I'll post back.

Everything's intact. Flexplate no cracks nor on ring gear,balancing weight on flexplate intact,bolts to TC tight and all there.:sweet
