4X$ Problem

Looking for some suggestions here. Any advice would be appreciated. When I shift my 2003 6.0 PSD excursion into 4x4, I can hear a noise in the transfer case (sounds like it is engaged) but no power goes to the front wheels.

Is there power to the front driveshaft coming out of the transfer case?
If so you proabably have a vaccum problem with the autolocking hubs, rotate the hubs manually to the LOCK position on both front wheels, you should now have power to the front wheels (just remember to unlock when in 2wd)

If there's no power to the front driveshaft at the transfer case, then you proabably need a new acuator/motor thing, that engages the transfer case.

Also check you transfer case fluid level just to be safe. Hope this helps, let us know what you find out.
