5.4 v8 swap for 6.0 v8 diesel

I have a 03 ford f250 with a 5.4 v8. I love my truck it is sonic blue in mint condition 4in pro comp lift. I was wondering how tuff of a swap this is or should I not waste my time and just get a new truck. Now the question is 6.0 swap or 7.3 anyway please let me know if this is worth doing because I really want a diesel and dont wanna sell my truck.
