I'm going to be ordering a new MBRP Turbo back exhaust soon, and was debating between a 5" tip and a 6" tip. What are y'all thoughts and experiences?:thanks

i havent seen a 6"....ive got a 5" double rolled on mine & like it.
I'd go w/ the double rolled tip what ever you do.

personally i WONDER if the 4" to 6" transition might be too great &
end up looking "weird"

Bush,

Thanks! I was shopping and I may have misquoted myself. I mean a 4" inlet/5" outlet or a 5"inlet/6"outlet? I'm pretty sure I'll be getting a dual-wall.

Well, since I'm definitely going with the 4" exhaust, what you say makes sense. I don't see any benefit to the 5" for my truck.
Now, I have to decide between aluminized and T-409. Cost vs. benefit thing.

I love my 6" tips on my MBRP duals... 4" to 6" looks ok as long as the tip is about 15-18" long!!!

Where do you live? If they dont salt the roads then go with the AL pipe, It will last as long as you have the truck! I have installed a few around here and they are fine! But if they salt the roads, you have about 3-4 years and its gone!!!

Joe, I'm Grapevine, TX (right outside Fort Worth). No salt! Aluminized it is.

Call up ITP as Dennis has good deals on them. I think MBRP has them now too but they are shorter.
