I found this Ford maintenance video on the 6.0. Lots of basic info plus some other items you might not know about. There is some information on the intake system relevant to the zoodad mods that have been discussed recently.

The intake section kinda shuts down the ZooDad thing don't it

As long as you maintain it well, and can keep huge debris from entering the zoodad mod inlet, I don't see a problem with it.

You can have the zoodad and install a screen at the opening to catch the big chunks of stuff.
